• Gender (optional)

b. Location Information (GPS)

• Child’s approximate or precise location (only if the parent enables it)

• Used strictly for safety and wellness insights

• Parents may disable location at any time

c. Wellness & Biometric Data

Collected from the wearable device or manually entered by the parent:

• Heart rate

• Temperature

• Sleep duration and patterns

• Physical activity

• General wellness indicators

• “Share Wellness” feature data (if enabled by the parent)

d. Device & App Usage Information

• App usage logs

• Error and crash reports

3. Parental Consent

Because SchoRing is designed for children, we comply with COPPA, GDPR for minors, and Google Play Families policies.

A parent or guardian must create an account and provide permission before any child data is collected.

Parents can:

• Review their child’s data

• Delete their child’s data

• Disable any feature at any time

• Request full deletion of the account

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide wellness and activity insights for the child

• Display health, sleep, and activity summaries

• Enable the Share Wellness feature between parent and child

• Improve the child’s daily school wellness experience

• Help parents understand their child's wellbeing

• Enable safety features such as location (if activated)

• Improve the app's functionality and performance

• Communicate with parents (updates, support)

We never use children’s data for advertising, marketing, or profiling.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. Information may only be shared in the following limited cases:

a. With Parent/Guardian

All child data is visible only to the parent account connected to the child.

b. Service Providers

We may share information with trusted providers who assist with:

• Cloud storage

They are not permitted to use the data for any other purpose.

c. Legal Requirements

d. No Third-Party Advertising

SchoRing does not display ads to children and does not share data for ad targeting.

Location (GPS)

Used only if the parent activates it. Not stored or shared without consent.

Bluetooth

Required to connect the wearable wellness device.

Camera / Photos

Used only to upload a child’s profile picture (optional).

Notifications

Used to send wellness updates and important alerts to parents.

7. Data Storage and Security

We apply strict security measures to protect child and parent data, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)

• Secure server storage

• Access restricted to authorized personnel

• Routine security audits

8. Data Retention

We retain data only while the account remains active.

Parents may delete:

• The child’s account

• All collected wellness and biometric data

• All profile information

Once deleted, the data is permanently removed from our servers.

9. Your Rights (Parent/Guardian)

Parents have the right to:

• Access and review their child’s data

• Correct or update information

• Disable specific features (GPS, wellness sharing, etc.)

• Delete the child’s data

• Withdraw consent at any time

• Request a full copy of the collected data

10. Children’s Privacy

SchoRing is designed specifically for children under 18. Child accounts can only be created and managed by a parent or guardian.

11. International Users

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located in the United States (Delaware).
