This Privacy Policy explains how AiTech collects, uses and protects information when you use the Smart VitaRing device, mobile app and related services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
a. Personal information
Name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, GPS location data, medical conditions, height, weight and nationality.
b. Wellness and biometric data
Heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂), skin temperature, steps, calories and activity, and sleep patterns.
c. Device and usage information
Device ID and model, operating system, IP address, app usage logs, and error and crash reports.
d. App permissions and how we use them
- Bluetooth (required): used to scan for, pair with and communicate with your ring. No personal data is collected through this permission.
- Location (Android only, required): Android requires this permission for Bluetooth scanning. The app does not access, collect, store or share your location data.
- Our commitment: the app does not track your physical location, and no location data is stored on our servers or shared with third parties.
How we use your information
- Tracking and displaying your wellness and activity data.
- Generating personalized reports and alerts.
- Providing diet and wellness recommendations.
- Sending emergency and SOS alerts to your contacts.
- Improving our Services and developing new features.
- Communicating with you about app updates and support.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:
- With your consent.
- With medical professionals, if you choose to opt in.
- With your emergency contacts during an SOS or abnormal vital-sign event.
- With service providers who help us run the Services, such as cloud storage and analytics.
- When required by law.

- Your data is stored on protected, secure servers.
- We use industry-standard safeguards such as AES encryption and HTTPS.
- Access is limited to authorized personnel, and only with your permission.

We keep your data for as long as you use the Services. You can permanently delete all of your data at any time by deleting your account in the app settings.
